Final practice

Put your investment plan together

Can you explain how your plan was reached? Compare complete decisions under different constraints, work through an incomplete record, then test a written rule in six independent situations.

  1. Write your investment planWork from assigned money and contributions to funding scenarios, a conditional mix and a usable written note. Try a different household before copying the blank prompts.

Changed budgets and payment terms can change the decision. Then reset to one starting household and test its rules in six independent situations.

  2. Test your plan against six difficult situationsReturn to the same starting facts for each test. Work through markets, income, a nearer bill, a country move and a broker outage before opening the discussions.

Keep the amended plan and its open questions. The optional sections let you investigate a topic in more detail, starting with bonds; completing the practice does not require adding more investments.
